What audio formats can I trim?▼
You can upload MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, and M4A files. The trimmer uses your browser's built-in audio decoder, so any format your browser supports will work.
Is my audio uploaded to a server?▼
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. Your audio files never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy.
What format is the trimmed output?▼
The trimmed audio is exported as a WAV file (16-bit PCM). WAV is a lossless format that preserves full audio quality. You can convert it to MP3 or other formats using any audio converter.
Is there a file size limit?▼
There is no hard limit, but very large files (over 1 hour) may be slow to decode depending on your device. For best performance, files under 20 minutes work great.
Can I add fade in and fade out effects?▼
Yes. Check the Fade In and/or Fade Out checkboxes below the waveform editor and set the desired duration in seconds. The fade will be applied when you export.
Does this tool work on mobile?▼
